Noelle McWard, MA, LCSW — Founder
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been providing therapy to clients since 1993. Therapy is a wonderful process that can truly change how you see yourself, how you feel, and how you experience life. I love my work as a therapist, and am constantly amazed, inspired and humbled by the changes that I see my clients make in their lives. My style with clients is warm and interactive. I am very involved in the therapy process with my clients, and view it as an active dialogue in which we are working together to achieve your goals. Utilizing a blend of cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic frameworks, my goal is to help my clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and to provide them with concrete tools to make changes in their lives. I work with both individual adults and couples. I earned my master's degree at the University of Chicago, and have served as an adjunct instructor at Loyola University in their Graduate School of Social Work.
Lisa Schneider, MS, LCPC, Certified Yoga Instructor
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) who has been providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families since 2000. My personal intention for working with clients is to approach therapy from a holistic perspective. A holistic perspective looks at the mind, body, and spirit with the goal of bringing these aspects of self into harmony. My primary goal is to help my clients foster their own inner strength to create the life they want. Clients may find that the therapy process cultivates more peace in their lives or changes the way they want to live. I have served many years as the Clinical Director at a cancer support center and I offer a specialty in working with life-change, illness (cancer and chronic), end-of-life issues, and grief. As a yoga instructor, I can incorporate the stress management benefits of yoga that result from proper breathing and calming the mind. This is your journey; I hope to be a guide for you in this chapter of your life.

Bernadette Gaffney, LCSW
With over 25 years experience as a Therapist working with individuals and couples, I consider the relationship built with my clients to be the key to making change happen. Establishing trust, developing a thorough understanding of your issues and being responsive to your questions form the foundation of therapy with me.
My background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago as well as completion of the 2 year Certificate Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.
Nobody initiates therapy because events in their life are going perfectly! We tend to repeat emotional experiences and respond to what is familiar even when the familiar is not healthy. Therapy confronts the futility of this pattern. You can bring difficult feelings to our sessions and feel safe, respected and heard as we engage in a process that identifies sources of encouragement, empowerment and renewal. My particular approach is based on a variety of theoretical orientations with warmth and a healthy dose of appropriate use of humor and directness. Together we work toward identifying and achieving the behavioral goals which best address your situation. The pace and number of sessions is flexible and tailored to what you need. I look forward to meeting you as well as the privilege of working together. Thank you.
