If you’ve been asked to complete a psychological evaluation for your immigration case, I understand how overwhelming that can feel. This process can bring up painful memories, uncertainty, and fear about your future. You may be asked to share personal experiences that are difficult to revisit.
My role is to make this experience feel safe, supportive, and respectful. I help you express your story in a way that truly reflects who you are and what you’ve been through.
In our session(s), I take time to learn about your personal history, current circumstances, and the emotional impact of your experiences. Together, we make sense of your symptoms, strengths, and the ways your experiences have shaped you. My approach is gentle and collaborative, and I aim to help you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.
I am a licensed therapist who works with individuals and families within multicultural, immigrant, refugee, and marginalized communities. Since 2017, I have supported clients affected by trauma, displacement, and migration in both community-based and private settings. I hold degrees in Criminology, Psychology, and Social Work, with a specialization in Migration Studies from Loyola University Chicago.
As both an immigrant and former refugee, I understand the deep emotional layers that come with migration, loss, and displacement. These lived experiences have sharpened my capacity to delicately highlight the consequences of trauma & grief on the clients that I worked with.
I provide psychological evaluations for immigration cases. My reports are trauma-informed and culturally responsive, written to meet legal standards while honoring your humanity and lived experience.
Many clients have shared that through this process, they not only felt understood but also gained new insight into their experiences, symptoms, and resilience. My goal is to make the evaluation process feel safe, validating, and empowering, a place where your story can be told with dignity and care.
